Our goal: radically change the way we do space missions today by building everything you need for space, in space.

Among many other projects, Made In Space has partnered with NASA to launch the first 3D printer to the International Space Station in 2014.

Qualifications:

+ B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Physics or equivalent area of focus
+ Passion for advancing the commercial space industry and human spaceflight
+ Hands-on internship, lab, or project experience involving small satellites (such as CubeSats) or other complex aerospace systems
+ Excitement about space and a startup environment
+ 2-5+ years experience
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

+ M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Physics or equivalent area of focus
+ Experience with evaluating and choosing electrical components for new designs
+ Experience in analog and digital circuit design and Integrated Circuit design
+ Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
+ Experience with 3D printers
